The 2008 Niagara Food Festival was a huge success this year with a crowd estimated at over 85,000. Festival-goers from throughout the Niagara Region were treated to a another successful weekend celebrating Niagara's local food, wine, and culinary treasures. The Niagara Food Festival's new attraction this year was the Waterfront Wine and Jazz Terrace and the new Kitchen Aid Mobile Culinary Theatre. The Mobile Culinary Theatre featured a line-up of celebrity chefs throughout the weekend, including Food Networks celebrity Anna Olson and Lynn Crawford. The Mobile Culinary Theatre will be booked at various events throughout the year in Ontario and Western New York to help promote the Niagara Food Festival. |

New York - West Broadway In the heart of Tribeca, Corton is a new restaurant created by restaurateur Drew Nieporent and Chef Paul Liebrandt. A romantic 65-seat dining room that offers a classical French cuisine with intense flavors. Choosing between there three-course menu or there chef’s tasting menu is inviting to say the least. There wine list features many selections from the Burgundy region. Corton is the largest area of Grands Crus in Burgundy. Also called la montagne, it produces the best red wines of Côte de Beaune. Corton needs to age at least 10 years to develop the smooth, rich red fruits aroma. The Corton restaurant is located at 239 West Broadway just between Walker and White Street. |

With over a 130 Culinary events, the Fall Flavours Festival has something for everyone. Taste Workshops, cheese and wine pairing, potato picking, digging for clams in the Red Sand, harvesting lobsters and oyster pairing and so much more. Celebrity Chef Michael Smith was in Toronto this weekend on a promotional tour for the festival and will be hosting some of the events through out the week and cooking a fine tasty menu. |

Chef Jay Swift brings his passion of modern American comfort food to 4th & Swift. His menu features the freshest of ingredients from local and regional sources. Menu highlights include: Heirloom Tomato Salad, The Crab Cake, Home-Made Pappardelle and Lasagna of Braised Lamb.
Chef Shane Touhy and Scott Black are proud to present their first restaurant. Dogwood which brings the warmth and charm of there Southern culture along with the complexity of there big city to Atlanta's most celebrated street, settled in Midtown.
Cuerno Owner Riccardo Ullio brings a Spanish flare to the city, there paella is prepared in the classical Valencian tradition using Calaspara rice to create a firm texture and crust.
